There is one biggest mistake when you are upgrading your wordpress with this plugin. It’s forgetting to upload the files in the wp-admin folder. Usually, wordpress instruction for upgrading the software is deleting the wp-admin and wp-content directory and its contents. But after upgrading, I don’t about you but in my experience I forgot to upload it again so I thought there were something wrong with the plugin compatibility. I disabled it for a long time thinking that it was a plugin problem.
Now I know that human error is also a software problem. So the next time you upgrade your WordPress, don’t forget to upload those files! 
Update: I have removed the plugin because I don’t need it anymore.

Hi,
I have downloaded the wordpress link exchange directory plugin from your website. It seems like this plugin still need some debugging.
First it does not display a list of available category for the use to choose from when adding a new link.
Second it does not display the actual links in a give category. I have tried myself and I notice the same issue in your “directory” section (navigation tab above).
I have already solve the categories display in a drop-down list of the link submission form. Maybe I will be lucky to finally have my links finally displayed: that’s my project for the week-end.
Any suggestions welcome.

That is really odd. I believe I followed all the instructions to the letter. Oh well, maybe I am missing something.
I can see that you do not have a Category > Subcategory structure in your link directory. Could it be the reason why it’s working for you?
