Drawing Circumscribed Polygons

Use circumscribed polygons when you want to specify the distance between the center of the polygon and the midpoint of each side. This distance is the radius of the circle the polygon circumscribes.

To draw a circumscribed hexagon

  1. From the Draw menu, choose Polygon.
  2. Enter 6 for the number of sides.
  3. Specify the center of the polygon (1).
  4. Enter c (Circumscribed about Circle).
  5. Specify the radius length (2).

After you’ve created a polygon, you can edit it with PEDIT or convert it to individual line segments with EXPLODE.
