Defining Hatch Boundaries: Removing Islands
When you use Pick Points to define your boundaries, you can remove any detected islands from your boundary definition. In the following procedure, you remove islands so that the part is hatched as illustrated.

To remove islands from the hatch area
- From the Draw menu, choose Hatch.
- In the Boundary Hatch dialog box, choose Pick Points.
- Specify a point in your drawing inside the hatch area.
- Press ENTER.
- Choose Remove Islands.
- Select the islands for removal (see the solid boundaries in the middle illustration) and press ENTER.
- Choose OK to apply the hatch.
