Actually, it was really luck when I was employed in Small Precision Tools Philippines because that time, the retired General Manager Ken Ellett was looking for a CAD guy who will replace the vacant position left by some other CAD guy. I have submitted my resume to Ken Ellett but they never responded. That time I also applied to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and was hired immediately (while I was still working in Nikon Industrial Corporation ). Since the company have more Japanese employees than Filipinos, I had a culture shock and decided to return to Nikon. Then after six months Small Precision Tools is inviting me for an interview and called me many times in the office. When I accepted the invitation I was hired immediately by the General Manager ( astig, he he ).
There was my happy moments of my life on my few months in that company and little that I know that it was the start of a nightmare when they hired a goblin and became my manager. It’s like ten years in prison with a monster. But it’s not all that negative, there are happy moments also. Friends and co-workers who cheers up the days. The picture below are the CAD guys and maintenance supervisor who left early in SPT ( because of the bully manager ). I was the only CAD guy left and became extinct in SPT just this year.
From left is the late Rick Nantes (maintenance supervisor), Marlon Buhisan, Me and Rodrigo Lofamia. The Photo was taken around 1998.
